Yep, JellyBean's been confirmed as a girl. Peanut's getting a little sister come July!

I have, right now, comfortably on my person, a brand-spanking-new pair of jeans...in a size 10. Please join me in celebration! *\o/*

I am only 10 lbs away from my goal weight now. This means it is entirely possible that in my adult lifetime, my pants size might actually become one digit. It boggles the mind.

My dad sent me this email today:

Ok, more like ten weeks, but who's counting? Either way, it's still hard to believe my little guy is already two and a half months old. I have to ask again, where does the time go?

Peanut is grand and growing like a weed. He is a skinny boy, but I think that's mostly because he's long (tall?) and we just can't fatten him up fast enough to keep up. ( Read more... )

Hooray! We finally welcomed Peanut to the world on Saturday, Feb 28 at 12:56 a.m., almost a whole week past the due date. He weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and is 21 inches long. And, incidentally, is the cutest baby ever. I have photographic evidence.

On the upside, this Salted Caramel Hot Chocloate from Starbuck's is really tasty. Yum.

Mr. F and I voted this morning. And I'm shocked, it literally took us less than half an hour, including time spent walking to and from the polling place. Also, we did our first-ever non-electric ballots - it was weird using a pencil. Felt like I was back in school!
